How we can help you to secure an ITT
Are you a school within Surrey, West Sussex, Oxfordshire or Berkshire? Do you need help securing a trainee teacher for 26/27?
As a SCITT working with Inspiring Future Teachers, and with 2 x local training hubs covering these areas, we would love to work with you!
We have 2 x primary and secondary training teacher training venues, one based in Banstead Surrey and one in Didcot, Oxfordshire, where trainees meet every Friday for their central training. We currently service both our 42 GLF Schools for their ITT needs and we also work with several non-GLF partner schools. As we continue to look to strenghten our partnerships, to offer our trainees diversity of choice in both their primary and secondary placements, we hope that you will consider joining us as.
We also understand that many schools work with multiple ITT providers to keep all potential trainee recruitment options open, with recruitment remaining a challenge; and we are therefore keen to explore if you would like to take advantage of our training opportunities that are local to you either in tandom with a current provider, or as your proncipal provider.
If you decide to partner with GLF Teacher Training, our experienced team will work with you to recruit an ITT in your chosen key stage or subject using both our partnership with National training provider Inspiring Future Teachers, as well as our longstanding recruitment partnership with education specialist eTeach.
Should you decide to engage with us for your teacher training needs for 26/27, we will work with you to launch a bespoke trainee teacher advertisement with eTeach, which will be promoted digitally via their database of targeted recipients, made up of graduates and candidates specifically interested in working in education. This will be via direct marketing, social media and their regular eTeach newsletter. Your advert will be tailored to your specific requirements and availability.
We also promote our teacher training provision, and available placements and placement schools, via the GLFTT social media accounts, which can be found HERE and which we urge you to follow. As well as this, we hold weekly 'Get Into Teaching' information events online, as well as in-person events at our placement schools.
We would be happy to set up both a specific online event, as well as an in-person event at your school, and can help you to promote them via your social media and parent/carer communications (e.g. Parentmail). An example of the events already booked in this term can be found on the GLFTT.org website HERE, with sample promotional materials for our in-person events also attached for information HERE. The GLFTT Team also attend university and college recruitment events across the region in order to further assist with recruitment, such as the popular Teach Berkshire event as well as the DofE 'Get Into Teaching' events.
