For Fees for GLF Course with Inspiring Future Teachers - See Fees and Finance HERE
-
Postgraduate teacher training courses cost around £9000 per year. These fees are paid by your employing school. You will be placed on an Apprentice teacher contract with the school and typically paid an unqualified teacher salary.
-
For fee-paying routes, you can apply for a tuition fee and maintenance loan, even if you already have a student loan. This works in the same way as a student would apply for a Student Loan when studying at university. For information on tuition fees and maintenance loans, see HERE. A useful student finance calculator can help you determine potential funding.
-
Some Secondary subjects come with a Department for Education tax-free bursary or scholarship, which does not need to be paid back. Link to latest Bursaries and Scholarships - HERE. These change each year.
-
For information on different ways to fund teacher training, The Department for Education website is helpful HERE.
