Financing Training

The current tuition fees for our teacher training courses, plus informaiton on how payments work, can be found on our provider's website: Inspiring Future Teachers  

• For fee-paying routes, you may be able to apply for a tuition fee and maintenance loan, even if you already have a student loan. This works in the same way as a student would apply for a Student Loan when studying at university. For information on tuition fees and maintenance loans, see HERE. A useful student finance calculator can help you determine potential funding.

• Some secondary 'demand' subjects come with a Department for Education tax-free bursary or scholarship, which does not need to be paid back. Please click HERE. for the link to the latest Bursaries and Scholarships.  The amounts are set by the DfE and change each year.  

• For information on different ways to fund teacher training, The Department for Education website is helpful HERE.

• Tuition fees for Postgraduate Teacher Training Apprenticeship courses are paid by the employing school via the Apprentice levy. Apprentices are typically paid an unqualified teacher salary. 

• Tuition fees for salaried trianees are paid by the employing school.
